Monarch Machine

1. Load tape into slot as shown.
2. Push tape until it stops.
3. Pull release peg toward letter wheel and push tape approximately 1 inch.
4. Release the release peg.  Use the lever to advance the tape until it is sticking out of the other side of the machine.
5. Push handle away to cut off tape.
6. You are now ready to make your label.  *  Remember to allow the lever to return to the home position between each letter.
7. After you are done with the letters and numbers, pull the lever to the advance stage 5 or 6 times before you cut it off.

 

 

 

   * Note: While your LBL 2000 is new, you may experience some sticking of the tape in the letter/number wheel.  This will cause a jam.  To prevent this always rotate the wheel in a clockwise rotation after each letter.  After your LBL 2000 is broke in, this step will not be required.
